Workshop Schedule

New Citizens Voice run workshops for UK new citizens of all ages; typically these are for children (ages 8-12), young people (ages 13-17), adults (18-65) and senior citizens (65+).

We do other grant-funded workshops for special groups, such as migrant domestic workers and Everyday English courses, but our core workshops are based on civic responsibility and citizenship described on our Your Voice Matters page.

We plan to run 36 workshops in other boroughs across London.

Workshops are available for new citizens from all London boroughs.
They are delivered in Houses of Parliament, London SW1A 2TT.

Adults

Tuesday 7 February 2012 – workshops followed by guided tour of Parliament for 60 people. Day starts at 9am. Special guest Lord Norton will be meeting participants and awarding NCV citizenship certificates today.

NEW Monday 20 February – citizenship event, London venue TBC.

NEW Friday 16 March – citizenship event, London venue TBC.

NEW Tuesday 17 April – citizenship event, London venue TBC.

NEW Saturday 5 May – citizenship event, London venue TBC.

Children and Young people

April 2012 TBC – workshops followed by guided tours inside Parliament only for young people.
